For the 3rd edition of Apologue 2047, KINETIC LIGHTS presented a kinetic installation entitled UNIVERSE featuring our brand-new product — Video Triangle. The concept stage performance directed by Zhang Yimou and produced by L!VE Kingway at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing combined advanced technology and traditional Chinese folklore. For the third time, Apologue 2047 presents a futuristic performance where technology is used not only as an attractive backdrop but as an ‘actor’ or ‘performer’ on its own.
This kinetic video installation allowed for an elegant multi-dimensional stage design with the high-resolution video streamed directly to the large, moving LED display. The seamless synchronization of the triangles aligned in various forms and movements was made possible to our custom-programmed KLC 3.0 software.
