In November 2022, AXION, a large-scale light installation was presented at Noor Riyadh, a citywide annual festival of light and art. Like a giant spaceship, the AXION artwork by light artist Christopher Bauder and composer and musician KiNK sits in the middle of the desert.

Every evening after sunset, the sculpture transforms into a giant light modulator. The pulsating portal of light and space captivates the viewer by constantly morphing in appearance and mood. It is superhuman in size, yet fleeting and fluid, distorting familiar perceptions of space and sound.
