For FOREST SEASONS by Christopher Bauder at DARK MATTER Berlin, KINETIC LIGHTS presents an immersive kinetic environment that transforms the cycle of nature into a monumental light and sound experience. Combining natural elements with Winch M systems with custom-made illuminated leaf chandeliers and Pixel Rods, the installation turns the industrial architecture into a poetic, ever-changing forest landscape shaped by motion, projection, and atmosphere.

Over the course of a continuously evolving 45-minute cycle, spring, summer, autumn, and winter unfold through kinetic leaves, abstract trees, shifting laser compositions, and dynamic video projections. Floating artificial suns and cascades of falling leaves move through space in perfect synchronization with an atmospheric soundtrack by Dutch musician Chris Kuijten, creating an emotional journey through growth, transformation, stillness, and renewal.

Blending cutting-edge technology with deeply human themes, FOREST SEASONS invites visitors into a contemplative world where nature, light, and movement become a shared emotional language, a living, breathing artwork suspended between reality and imagination.
