GRID is an audiovisual live show by Robert Henke und Christopher Bauder combining kinetic movement, light animation and electronic live music. It had its premiere at the opening ceremony for the new Basel trade fair building (designed) by Herzog & de Meuron in April 2013.

Motorized suspended Rod Triangle light elements form a massive dynamic GRID. Live generated sound connects directly to light animations and triggers spatial movements. Every sound and fragment of music composed by Robert Henke (Monolake) corresponds to a visual impulse and spatial alteration of the mechatronic display.
